Situated in St Lucia, Wetlands Park has been a safety hub for many businesses and organisations. Following last month’s violent unrest and looting, many of these establishments were severely affected and have been left helpless during these challenging times.

It believes that four key social issues need to be addressed in both systemic and specific ways, which may lead to meaningful social, economic and political transformation. These four social issues are education, health, stable income-generation and community.

This African organisation has the aim to change the way that the world responds to hunger. It offers lifesaving interventions and development projects in seven developing countries in Africa and it constantly seeks to make a great impact on individuals who are in need. It also aims to eradicate poverty and malnutrition across Africa.

The Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust has the sole purpose to save and transform lives. The Trust was one of the first non-governmental organisations in South Africa to tackle the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Trust primarily aims to support people who have this disease and live in semi-rural and disadvantaged communities of the Valley of 1000 Hills region in KwaZulu-Natal. Some of the services that the Trust offers include HIV prevention and education and HIV healthcare.

foundation seeks to equip these individuals with relevant information and skills to enhance careers through continuous seminars, workshops and mentorship programmes.
