#HopeIsPower – Sizanokuhle Creche

This creche lives up to the meaning of its name, “we are coming with good things and greatness”. It was established in 2015 and it aims to keep children safe during the day and combat child abuse.

On Thursday, 29 July, Team Members from Hollywoodbets visited the creche in Bothas Hill and donated four hampers to them, as part of the #HopeisPower initiative. The hampers contained items, such as cleaning supplies, sanitisers and food. This action was done to assist with the daily functioning of the creche, following the recent upheaval in Kwa-Zulu Natal and parts of Gauteng.

Thembile Mthethwa, a spokeswoman for the creche, was delighted to see the hampers and stated that “Hollywood is Power”. She explained that the riots affected the creche as many of the children could not come to school. She further added that the items in the hamper will be used to help the children and the rest will be used to assist the community.
