Hollywood and Lighthouse Foundation – Women in Business Awards

The Hollywood Foundation is proud to partner with starlet and philanthropist Nomzamo Mbatha’s Lighthouse Foundation, for the #EmpoweringHER campaign this Women’s Month. The R1.5 million campaign aims to shine a spotlight on various female-owned businesses in South Africa, that make a strong economic and community-driven impact.

Hollywoodbets supports the empowerment of women, through the sponsorship of the Hollywoodbets Super League, Netball SA and the launch of the #EmpoweringHER campaign in 2021 that assisted 21 female-owned businesses. This year, the selected businesses will be recognised through the Women in Business Awards, as part of the ground-breaking campaign. With the launch of the Hollywood Foundation and the implementation of its Enterprise and Supplier Development team, the campaign aims to touch the lives of even more businesses that are owned by women and break down barriers for them within the corporate space

“We are once again returning during Women’s Month to not only honour but also to empower women in business. Partnering with the Hollywood Foundation on this is so meaningful as we had a successful run in 2021 with the #EmpoweringHER campaign. This year we are going bigger and aiming for absolutely nothing short of excellent!”
Nomzamo Mbatha
“We are so honoured to be able to continue the #EmpoweringHER campaign this year, and partner with Nomzamo Mbatha and her Lighthouse Foundation to make a difference in the lives of even more hardworking businesswomen across the country! Women supporting other women can only lead to success, and we are proud to raise the bar and afford more women the opportunity to thrive and own their space in the business sector,”
Babongile Mkhize
