The Hollywood Foundation was proud to embark on a special project, in an attempt to bring about change in the community of Khayelitsha.

The Western Cape-based Hope Africa Collective aims to spark entrepreneurship in the local economy, produce work-ready, resilient and inspired youth.

This was after Area Manager Emma Dove approached the CCID asking for a “wish list”. The Purple Team was happy to grant all items requested.

This initiative was part of the partnership between the Hollywood Foundation and Blind Cricket South Africa which saw the team contributing various items in three provinces namely, KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Western Cape

The Purple Team takes an active interest in the development of children and enhancing their skills and abilities from a young age.

Hollywood Foundation contributed various items to the centre including chairs and a board table, stationery, printer and toys for the children as part of its CSI initiative.

To give them the support they need, the Hollywood Foundation was privileged to have made a contribution to Refihlile Disability Care, as part of the Foundation’s CSI initiative.

Caring for the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children is what the Thabang Drop-in Centre in Limpopo does best. To support their sterling work, the Hollywood Foundation contributed with a gas stove, generator and two white boards as part of its various CSI projects.

Hollywood Foundation was honoured to partner with Blind Cricket SA to support Athlone School for the Blind in the Western Cape, as part of a CSI project.

Grooming and nurturing children from an early age is something that is close to the heart of the Hollywood Foundation, which is why the Purple

Hollywood Foundation has been focussing on implementing various initiatives across the country that touch the hearts of many children and improve their education and wellbeing.

World Blindness Awareness Month aims to draw attention to blindness and vision impairment.

Based in Giyani, Maseke Drop-In Centre was overjoyed to hear that they will be receiving assistance in September this year.

Dinaso is a soup kitchen that is based in Gauteng. As part of a CSI campaign, the Purple Team was humbled to select this organisation to receive assistance.
