Which institution are you from and what are you currently studying?

“I am studying towards a post-graduate diploma in Human Resource Management at the Durban University of Technology (DUT)”.

Why did you choose this particular field of study?

“I already had an undergraduate qualification in Human Resource Management and I always wanted to continue with my studies but didn’t have the means to.”

What year of study are you currently enrolled in?

“It is a one-year programme.”

How did you hear about the bursary programme?

“I saw an email about the bursary programme and so I thought I should take a chance.”

Can you briefly tell us how the bursary programme has made a difference in your life?

“I couldn’t afford to further my studies because time are tough. The bursary programme has helped me a lot.”

Why would you recommend the bursary programme to other students?

“I would urge everyone who qualifies to apply for this because this kind of opportunity doesn’t come twice in your lifetime, so why not grab it with both hands. Hollywood Foundation is doing a sterling job for the community, so why not use this opportunity to your advantage. Education is one of the most fundamental keys in life so don’t let this opportunity slip through your hands.”

Is there anything else that you would like to say to the Hollywood Foundation?

“Thank you so much for doing this, it is one of the initiatives that has a very positive impact in the community. Education is something that cannot be taken away from you and I believe that education will build South Africa and also develop countries.”
