Hollywoodbets Ladysmith chose to support Qophindlela Emanqatheni Ladysmith as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

This centre was started in 2014 to help underprivileged children in the area of Emanqatheni.
Children from as young as four years old are given a safe place during the day, and the center’s staff also feed them and educate them.
Team Members from Hollywoodbets Ladysmith visited Qophindlela Emanqatheni to hand deliver a JoJo tank as well as mattresses and blankets.
The centre’s founder Thembi Zungu was grateful for the Team’s support.
“The new JoJo tank will help us a lot because this is a water scarce area so we will be able to use the rainwater. The mattresses and blankets will help us to keep our children warm because this is a very cold place. Thank you Hollywoodbets,” she said.
