Hollywoodbets Govan Mbeki chose to support Siyaphambili Disable Community Project as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

This organisation has been assisting people living with disabilities in their community for the past five years.
They help them through teaching and transferring a range of arts and crafts skills that will enable them to get an income and become employable.
The organisation also offers learnerships and internships.
The handcrafted work that they produce and sell is one of the ways the organisation generates income.
The Hollywoodbets Govan Mbeki Team visited the organisation to deliver an industrial sewing machine, twelve threads, an HP printer and cable, as well as ink.
Chairperson, Lucky Nonimba, thanked the company for their generosity.
“The donation and the support from Hollywoodbets will enable us to create work for ourselves by means of making handcrafts which will generate an income, which will help us survive. The printer will also help us to print without having to go to the internet café,” she said.
