The Hollywood Foundation’s 2026 Limpopo Bambelela Business Awards are here to encourage and celebrate the entrepreneurs who are doing exactly that. From family-run enterprises and township businesses to innovative start-ups and growing Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, these awards recognise the business owners who are creating jobs, serving their communities, and helping shape Limpopo’s economic future.
The theme, “Bambelela (Hold On) Your Dreams Are Valid,” is a tribute to the resilience of local entrepreneurs. It is for the business owner who refused to give up, the innovator who saw opportunity where others saw obstacles, and the visionary who continues to build despite the challenges.
More than an awards programme, Bambelela is a platform for growth. It offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to display their businesses, gain valuable exposure, connect with industry experts, and access opportunities that can help unlock their next phase of success.
Selected businesses will participate in a two-day exhibition and seminar, where they will present their products, services, and business ideas to a panel of experienced judges through exhibitions and funding pitches. The judges will be looking for businesses that demonstrate innovation, sustainability, growth potential, and a positive impact on communities.
Most importantly, participants will compete for a share of over R1 million in funding, providing a valuable boost to businesses ready to take the next step in their journey to success.

Eligibility Criteria
- Businesses must be 100% Black-owned.
- Must be a local business registered and operating within Limpopo.
- Open to both formal and informal registered businesses.
- Applicants must provide a business profile or clear description of the business and its activities.
