Hollywood Foundation has always put the needs of the community first, which is why in November, the Purple Team travelled to Boksburg in Mpumalanga to affirm its commitment to community empowerment as part of many CSI projects.

Founded by philanthropist and businessman, Siyanda Ntenga, the awards ceremony aimed to shine a spotlight on youth-owned businesses in KwaZulu-Natal, and recognise their hard work and determination that they put into making their dreams a reality.

Creches, day cares, schools and universities are important institutions in our country that prioritise the welfare of children and the youth. Education is a key focus for the CSI Team at the Hollywood Foundation, and many of their projects are firmly aligned to the upliftment of learners.

As part of a CSI project, the Team visited the creche on 8 November 2022, to contribute an array of electrical appliances, such as a fridge, a TV and a laptop.

Hollywood Foundation has partnered with the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation (SARGF) to commemorate National Responsible Gambling Awareness Month.

Through various CSI projects, the Team have been prioritising Early Childhood Development (ECD) and ensuring that children are given every opportunity to excel in their educational journey.
