The Hollywood Foundation Team from KwaZulu-Natal embarked on a road trip on 15 November 2022, to assist a creche in Elandskop that required much-needed assistance. Through various CSI projects, the Team have been prioritising Early Childhood Development (ECD) and ensuring that children are given every opportunity to excel in their educational journey.
Coshulwazi Creche is a small but mighty organisation that is considered a safe haven by many children from within the community. The staff at this creche work hard on a daily basis, to create a conducive learning environment for 60 children. Previously, there was only one building available for classroom activities. As part of a special CSI project, the Team was proud to contribute building materials and ECD toys to the creche. The talents and abilities of the children were on display, as they greeted the Purple Team with various song and dance items, including much-loved nursery rhymes such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Noel McClean, a representative from Coshulwazi Creche, was extremely grateful to receive assistance from the Hollywood Foundation, and said that this contribution will help to give the children a better start to their education.
