The Ukukhanya kweSizwe Community Development is a non-profit organisation in KwaMashu that focusses on an array of factors that contribute towards holistic community development. These aspects include educational development, women and children development, and health programmes.

Thabitha Community Care Services is based in Wentworth, Durban, and it focuses on preventative, promotive and rehabilitative healthcare for individuals who are battling drug addiction.
Helping Hands Social Society is based in Chatsworth, Durban, and is a non-profit organisation. The name of the organisation speaks for itself, as it seeks to help and assist those in need.
Little Noddy is a pre-school located in Berea, Durban, and focuses on the welfare of children. The school seeks to offer a stimulating, caring and nurturing environment for children from 3 months to Grade R.
This organisation has the aim of developing channels and opening networks via its members and partners. It then uses their contributions, such as time, skills or funding, to conduct significant and sustainable schemes.
This initiative began in May last year and aims to bring food relief to individuals in the Asherville, Overport and Springtown areas in Durban, amid the coronavirus pandemic. Its first feeding scheme kicked off with 50 people, and they have since grown to now feeding 380 people every Thursday, with grocery hampers also being handed out once a month. At the moment, the initiative has in excess of 90 households on its database, consisting of the elderly, vulnerable and disabled.
The Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre is located in Queensburgh, Durban, and aims to support and assist children who are in need. Currently, the organisation provides shelter to 120 children who are orphaned or neglected.
Each One Reach 1 is a family run non-profit organisation that strongly believes in giving back to their communities. The organisation is mobile and focuses on taking training and supplies to areas within Durban North, in order to empower the youth. It seeks to promote a lifestyle that drives transformation and aims to offer training to people in order to equip them with skills in hopes of a better future.

The Ntenga Foundation makes use of charity events to raise money for people in need. A recent effort included providing school shoes for children across Africa. This youth-led non-profit organisation has sought to help many organisations that fell victim to the recent violent protests and unrest that took place in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng.
