The Hollywood Foundation is continuing to touch the lives of many players in developing sporting teams, through the contribution of soccer kits. The latest club to receive assistance was Titanic FC, a club that was formed in 2004. The club is comprised of 24 players, who practice three times a week at Lulekani sports field. The club was formed to help young men improve their soccer talent, and to keep them occupied and off the streets. One of the club’s proudest moment was receiving brand-new soccer kits from the Hollywood Foundation.
The Team from Phalaborwa paid a visit to the club on 10 February 2022 to hand over the kits. This formed part of the Hollywood Foundation’s efforts to assist developing clubs who use sport as a means to stay active. The Manager of Titanic FC, Lulekani, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for the contribution, and added that the soccer kits will encourage other young men to join the club.
