469 Enterprises (Pty) Ltd is based in Motherwell, Port Elizabeth, and it is a dynamic and creative company that focusses on township economy space. This SMME has many business units under its operations, such as 469 All-in-One Car wash & Café, 469 Bar-lounge & Tshisanyama, 469 Events and Entertainment, 469 Transport Services and PataPata Lifestyle.
The business has opened up about the many challenges that it has faced since the start of COVID-19, such as losing up to 70% of its revenue. The Hollywood Foundation prides itself on the ability to transform SMMEs, that work hard to offer important services to customers across the country. On 1 April 2022, the Team travelled to 469 Enterprises (Pty) Ltd, to present them with an array of items that will help to improve the overall functioning of the company. Some of the items that were contributed included branding, a couch set, a waterproof stretch tent with poles, a catering turf bale, a red carpet, golden poles and red rope. Siyabulela Mandla, the Owner of the business, was extremely grateful to receive the much-needed assistance and said that the items will allow him to reposition the business units as preferred venues for events, entertainment, tshisanyama and car wash services. He said that the contribution will also allow the business to introduce a new hiring service. Siyabulela added, “You are a lifeline to small businesses; personally, I have seen the impact you have made to several small businesses across the country. Your interventions give hope to many entrepreneurs like me. May you continue to plant the seeds which the entire country will feed from for generations to come.”
