Hollywoodbets Jeffreys Bay chose to support Timion Non Profit Company as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2020/21

The company was started in 2008 with their main goal being to support the many children who are living with disabilities but who do not have access to the right equipment or regular therapy. On a daily basis they provide the families of children living with cerebral palsy with the correct equipment they desperately need. These children’s caregivers also receive emotional and spiritual support at the centre. Day care facilities are also available for children living with cerebral palsy.
The Hollywoodbets Jeffreys Bay Team heard about the extraordinary work being done by this company and felt that it would be the right move to support them with a donation. The Team therefore delivered a refrigerator, kettle, a 93-piece toolkit, cordless drill and heavy duty stapler to the centre.
Manager and Physiotherapist at Timion thanked the Team for this much-needed show of support.
“These tools will help our carpenters to make disability-friendly equipment, while the fridge and kettle will help to kit out the bungalow for the moms and caregivers when they come to stay at camps with us here at Timion. Thank you very much,” she said.
