One shining example of this dedication is their partnership with Refilwe Community Care, a beacon of strength and hope nestled in the heart of Mokopane since its establishment in 2008.
Refilwe Community Care was born out of a noble cause – to provide unwavering support to children in their educational journey. With 28 beneficiaries already under its nurturing wings, the organisation aspires to extend its reach, ensuring even more children receive the educational assistance they deserve. The Hollywood Foundation, through its Mokopane Branch, recognised the vital role played by Refilwe Community Care and decided to lend a helping hand.
The Purple Team, embodying the spirit of compassion and generosity, embarked on a heart-warming journey to Refilwe Community Care on 23 November 2023. Their mission being to make a profound impact by contributing essential elements for a conducive learning environment. With hearts brimming with empathy, they delivered a generous assortment of furniture, school supplies, and educational toys.
Christena Mohela, the dedicated Manager at Refilwe Community Care, couldn’t conceal her gratitude. “Our children will now have enough educational toys, chairs, and tables to use,” she beamed. The Hollywood Foundation’s CSI initiative, spearheaded by the Purple Team, has not only furnished physical objects but has also provided a catalyst for dreams to flourish.
