Soccer Kit Hand-Over

Hollywood Foundation has brought smiles to soccer teams in the KwaZulu-Natal region who took ownership of brand of training kits recently.

The move forms part of the Foundation’s My Sport pillar geared towards the development of grassroots sports in underserved communities.

On Thursday, 20 August 2026 Zulu Warriors Academy founder Philasande Zulu and his team were left overjoyed after being called to the Raisethorpe branch to receive the donation.

“We are thrilled to have received such a generous donation. This will go and long way in boosting the confidence of these young players who aspire to do well in the sport,’’ said Zulu.

Having founded the club in 2015, Zulu said the club now boasts over four divisions between under 13 right up to under 21. Some of the players in this division come from surrounding underserved communities including informal settlements.

Zulu recalled writing to the branch with a plea for donation. “We were battling because the boys had to do with only just three soccer kits which we had to share during games which was not enough.’’
