Hollywoodbets Soweto chose to support Vakoma Home for Frail Older Persons as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

This old age home has been actively providing care to the elders in their community since 2016.
The Vakoma Home for Frail Older Persons provides healthcare to 14 live-in patients, and they also raise awareness about the problems faced by the elderly.
Hollywoodbets Soweto Team Members visited the home to hand over a double sink with a cabinet, plastic chairs, wardrobes, a chest of drawers and some gym exercise bikes.
Social Work Manager, Velaphi Charles Sambo, thanked the Team for their generosity.
“This donation will help us when it comes to arranging our elders’ clothing and the bicycles will help us to promote healthy living and exercise,” he said.
