Fit is Fun
This organisation was founded in 2018 and is committed to giving those living in rural communities the opportunity to take part in healthy activities. They take a fun approach to fitness, and at the same time uplift and empower their beneficiaries. The centre offers corporate wellness, sport-specific assessments and conditioning, as well as health risk assessments.
The Team from Hollywoodbets Empangeni found out about this organisation through various Team Members who have participated in some of the activities offered by Fit is Fun. The Team therefore chose to support this great initiative that promotes healthy living in the less fortunate communities. The donation included gym mats, skipping ropes, dumbbells and gym weights.
Mondi Linda, Manager of the organisation, was thankful to the Hollywoodbets Team for their generous donation.
“This donation will assist us with our Fit is Fun community outreach programme by focusing on developing rural-based athletes and promoting participation in physical activities in and around the community of the King Cetshwayo District,” she said.
