Be Youthful opened their doors to the community in 2014. Their main aim is to ensure that the youth of KwaMbonambi, in KwaZulu-Natal, receive an overall support system which means supporting them when it comes to both their lifestyles as well as their academic activities. One of the organisation’s programmes focuses solely on creating awareness around illegal and harmful activities to ensure that their beneficiaries don’t enter into that life.
The Hollywoodbets Team from Richards Bays were approached by the organisation through a sponsorship letter, and the Team were happy to help! Be Youthful received a donation containing various stationery items, two hybrid speakers and a microphone.
Youth Coordinator, Sebenzile Mthiyane, was thankful to the Team assisting them.
“This donation will help us make a different in the KwaMbonambi area because we were struggling to afford the simplest of items such as stationery. We will now be able to execute our programmes with ease, as the speakers and microphone will help make communication with a large crowd of people much easier!” he said.
