As a result of the recent floods and heavy rain in KwaZulu-Natal, the Hollywood Foundation launched the #HandsOfHope campaign to provide swift relief to those in need of assistance, in and around the province. They came to the aid of St Kizito Church Parish.
The Team from KwaZulu-Natal visited the St Kizito Church Parish in April to contribute much-needed support and resources during these tough times. By providing food hampers and blankets, the #HandsOfHope campaign offered much-needed support for the members of the Church. The floods had caused mayhem, severe landslides, destruction of property and even fatalities in the surrounding areas, and the Church was in dire need of assistance.
Various communities in KwaZulu-Natal were in severe distress due to the recent floods that impacted their lives and livelihoods. Responding to the devastation, the Hollywood Foundation launched their #HandsOfHope campaign, and has donated essentials.
The Hollywood Foundation increased their pledge to R5 million.
