Young Chiefs FC was the organisation of choice for Hollywoodbets Mthatha for the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2020/21

The club has been working on their goal of getting youth in the rural areas involved in sport since 1992. They believe that sport is a great alternative to unsavoury activities like drug use and alcohol abuse because it is a meaningful and constructive way to spend time. Each week from Monday to Thursday the 40 players affiliated with Young Chiefs get together to practise at the Ngcobo grounds. The club has Under 12, Under 15 and senior teams.
The Hollywoodbets Mthatha Team believed supporting this particular club was the right thing to do because it would show this struggling club in a deep rural area that a company like Hollywoodbets supports them.
Representative of the Young Chiefs, Mr Vuyani Mngayi, was thankful for the assistance.

“Your donation has helped us so much because we did not have any kit to play in. Now we will be taken seriously in the area and be able to show other clubs how hard work can pay off!” he said.
