The club was started in 1996 to help the youth move away from violence and use their time and energy in a constructive manner.
The teams practice three times a week at their home ground in KwaMagxaki.
The club is home to four divisions including a junior structure.
The club’s proudest moment was when the Under 17’s won the league and the junior teams were given the opportunity to go dine at a hotel.
The team had worked really hard and for most of the club members, this was the first time that they experienced something like this.
The Hollywoodbets Govan Mbeki team members visited United Brothers FC at their home ground to donate a brand new kit to the players.
Luyanda Ncwadi, the Chairman of the club, expressed his gratitude for the donation made by Hollywoodbets.
“The support Hollywoodbets has given us will benefit the club in a huge way as each year more players are recruited. The soccer kit donated is needed for all the divisions participating in the leagues. The younger kids are excited and this donation has helped motivate the team in a big way,” he said.
