Try Again FC was established in 1997 and it is made up of six age groups, ranging from under-11, all the way up to the senior team. The club comprises of approximately 150 players who train four days a week at the Blue Ridge Complex, from Monday to Thursday. The club was formed to develop youth in the community and keep young kids away from social problems plaguing the surrounding areas. They also take a keen interest in the academics of each squad player. The club are the current champions of their stream and have qualified for the play-offs. As a result of their stellar performances, some players have joined teams in higher divisions, such as the Vodacom League.

On 18 January 2022, the Team from Kraaifontein was proud to hand over new soccer kits to the football club. This was part of the Hollywood Foundation’s campaign to empower developing sport teams across the country. Abongile Tayo, head coach of Try Again FC, explained that the donation of kits will go a long way in aiding the burden of the lack of resources at the club
