National Soccer League – Tshwane University of Technology

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) was established in 2005 and consists of 35 players, who train four times a week at the university in west Pretoria. The club was developed to keep players active and prevent the youth from living on the streets. The club was thrilled to participate in the Women’s Month campaign and earned R11 000 after scoring six goals.

TUT chose to hand over their winnings to Faith & Hope Foundation, which is based in Ga-Rankuwa Unit 23. The organisation’s goal is to devise a youth development and empowerment plan aimed at creating access to social and economic opportunities for needy youth in South Africa.
