Movers FC is based in Margate and the club was established in 2015. Currently, 100 players make up the team and the players practice 5 days a week at Mantamhlophe. The club was primarily formed to help keep the youth active. One of the club’s proudest moment was winning the 2021 Year-End tournament.
One of the challenges that the players at the club was facing was the lack of uniforms to compete in matches. The Hollywood Foundation prides itself in uplifting and empowering community-based sports teams. On 19 January 2022, the Team from the Shelly Beach branch were happy to hand over essential sporting gear to the club, which comprised of socks, shorts and t-shirts.
