Kruisfontein United Rugby Club

Kruisfontein United Rugby Club is a community club that is affiliated under Eastern Province Rugby and plays in the Grand Challenge league. The club consists of four teams: 1st XV, 1st reserve team, 2nd team and an U21 team. It is made up of 65 registered players where some of them work through the day and practise at night in preparation for their games. The club also thrives in helping provide coaching to local primary schools and secondary schools where they try developing young players and lead them on a positive path in life.

Upon hearing about the great work being done within the local community, the Hollywoodbets Team wanted to show their support to the club. This resulted in a generous donation from the company which hopes to improve the performance of the Kruisfontein United’s players. The contribution included various items such as rugby kits, tackle bags, contact shields, first aid kits and other training equipment.

Calvin Zietsman, Club President, thanked the Hollywoodbets Team for recognising his club and showing their support to grassroots rugby.
