The Hollywood Foundation is passionate about uplifting the community and helping those in need by using a holistic approach to community development and by prioritising skill enhancement and socio-economic empowerment. Recognising the unique challenges faced by vulnerable women, particularly those emerging from abusive backgrounds, and in a transformative gesture of empowerment, the Hollywood Foundation alongside the Racing Distribution (RD) Team extended its philanthropic reach to the Rainbow Circle Organisation in Eshowe, through its CSI programme.
The Rainbow Circle Organisation provides prevention, awareness and skill development to vulnerable women suffering from psychosocial issues. On 14 March 2024, the Purple Team visited the organisation to make a CSI contribution of sewing equipment which will benefit 20 women and assist them on their journey to financial independence within the community of Eshowe. Fundraising Officer for the Rainbow Circle Organisation, Zinhle Zungu proudly stated, “This contribution will enable our beneficiaries to reclaim their dignity and help them to contribute positively in the society they were once vulnerable in.”
