#HopeIsPower – Gemisquare Cakes expansion

Gemisquare Cakes gets a donation from Hollywoodbets

Gemisquare Cakes are baking their way to success, one cake at time! This Amanzimtoti-based bakery has previously received support from Hollywoodbets which allowed them to expand their premises and create new branding.

They have since flourished and formed a vital role in the community for essential items, especially during the recent unrest in KZN. As part of the #HopeIsPower campaign, Hollywoodbets were thrilled to extend their support by handing over a double door proofer, a three deck nine tray electric oven, 10 bread pans, a dough mixer and a 12-tray cooling rack.

“I would like to thank Hollywoodbets for sponsoring us with these lovely machines like the proofer, oven and mixer. This is going to help me a lot in terms of increasing my productivity because during the looting period I was struggling with production because there was a lot of people that were asking for bread, but now I will be able to produce more,”
