The Tsomoma Service Centre, serving 125 beneficiaries, found itself facing challenges that threatened its noble mission. The dedicated team, working tirelessly to uplift the community, reached out to the Hollywood Foundation’s CSI programme. The Alberton branch team, having witnessed the struggles first hand, nominated Tsomoma Service Centre to receive support. The organisation lacked essential tools, like a computer and printer, and faced the daunting task of traveling long distances to access these basic facilities.
On 15 November 2023, a convoy of hope arrived at Tsomoma Service Centre. The Hollywood Foundation team, joined by the Alberton team, brought with them a transformative contribution. Office furniture, a speaker to amplify the voices of change, a laptop to connect the dreams of youth, a gazebo for shelter, and a gas stove with a cylinder to fuel the aspirations of the community. These items promised to elevate the daily operations of the organisation.
Vusi Ndlovu, the dedicated Manager at Tsomoma Service Centre, was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. “We are grateful for the generous contribution from the Hollywood Foundation. These items will benefit our youth and the community,” he expressed, his words echoing the profound impact of the CSI initiative.
