The Hollywood Foundation was proud to use the #HandsOfHope campaign to make a meaningful impact on Operation Bobbi Bear, a non-profit organisation based in Doonside. The campaign has proven to be instrumental in assisting many families and organisations that felt the brunt of the floods and heavy rain in KwaZulu-Natal in April.
Eureka Olivier, the CEO of Operation Bobbi Bear, explained that the adverse weather conditions left many children homeless in the community. Many of these children were also left cold and hungry. On 26 April 2022, the Team from the Hollywood Foundation paid a visit to the organisation to contribute food hampers and blankets. Eureka was extremely grateful for the assistance and said that the contribution will be able to assist many families during this time of uncertainty.
