Based in Shakaville, Mbozamo Primary has been educating learners since 1936. The school is one of many that was ecstatic and overwhelmed to receive assistance from the Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign this year.
The campaign has proven to be a helping hand for many teachers and learners, through the contribution of an array of school items, such as stationery and school uniforms. Mbozamo Primary also offers learners a chance to grow and enrich their skills and abilities through extra-curricular activities, such as music lessons. Many of the learners at the school also come from disadvantaged backgrounds, and parents often find it difficult to purchase many school supplies that are required for their children. On 17 March 2022, the Team from Stanger was proud to contribute new school uniforms and school shoes for learners to wear this year.
The Principal of Mbozamo Primary, Goodman Mchunu, thanked the Team for the generous contribution, and said that the items will help to reduce the levels of absenteeism at the school this year.
