The Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign is continuing to make a positive difference in the lives of many learners across the country. The teachers, learners and parents at Clubview Primary School were ecstatic to hear that the school will also be receiving assistance from the campaign this year.
The school was established in 1995, and it is based in Phuthaditjhaba. The parents of the learners face many challenges, including unemployment. As such, many of them are unable to ensure that their children have new stationery and school uniforms to use during the course of the year. The school has also spoken about the challenge of teaching learners, who do not come to school with the proper school attire. On 3 March 2022, the Team from Phuthaditjhaba was delighted to ease the pressure off the learners and parents, through the contribution of new school shoes.
Victor Mosebekoa, a representative for Clubview Primary School, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for their kind gesture, and said that the contribution will help to boost the self-esteem and the confidence of the learners.
