Gardenia Primary School is based in Durban and it was established in 1969. The school was excited to learn the news that students will be receiving some support through the Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign this year.
The teachers at the school continuously work hard to ensure that the learners are provided with a good quality of education. The school also offers a feeding scheme to the learners, so they are able to receive a meal during the day that will help them to concentrate during classroom activities. One of the many requirements that schools ask from parents is paper, in order for the school to provide worksheets for the learners, as well as test and exam papers. On 1 March 2022, the Team from the Bluff was happy to make things easier for parents and teachers at the school, by contributing boxes of paper for the learners to use this year.
The Principal of Gardenia Primary School, Sharon Blankenberg, welcomed the contribution with open arms, and said that it will help the school during the year with classroom activities, circulars and notices.
