It’s Back to School with the Hollywood Foundation, and Brand Ambassadors for Hollywoodbets, Stacey-lee May and Austin Kruger! Using the Back to School campaign to make a meaningful difference, Stacey-lee nominated Boekenhout Primary School to receive much-needed assistance this year.
The school is based in Eldorado Park, and it was established in 1981. The teachers at this school go above and beyond to ensure that learners are equipped with necessary skills to go further in the future. This extends from classroom activities to extra-curricular activities, such as social work, physical activities, counselling and community services. The school was happy after hearing the news that it will be receiving support this year. Previously, the school got by with the little resources that it had, to educate learners who came from disadvantaged communities. On 15 March 2022, the school was treated to a special visit from the Team in Gauteng, as well as Stacey-lee and Austin, who contributed an array of school supplies, such as school shoes and stationery items.
Gerard Moodley, an educator at Boekenhout Primary School, said that the school loves to work with the Hollywood Foundation to improve the lives of learners, create opportunities and help learners to reach their full potential.
