Back to School – Esitiyeni Primary School

Esitiyeni Primary School is located in the Eastern Cape and has been educating learners since 1979. Currently, the school is comprised of learners who own torn school uniforms. Both the learners and the teachers were thrilled to discover that they would receive immediate support from the Back to School campaign by the Hollywood Foundation.

Apart from educating pupils, the school plays an active role in the children’s lives by also offering sporting activities, school nutrition programmes and culture activities. On 19 November 2021, the Hollywood Foundation Team from Govan Mbeki paid a visit to the school to hand over much-needed school uniforms and school shoes for the pupils.

Mr B.F Mxokozeli, the Principal for Esitiyeni Primary School, explained that this contribution will help to build confidence and increase the attendance of learners at school.
