Motshwarakgole Intermediate School is based in Dithakong, Northern Cape. A community member nominated the school to receive assistance from the Hollywood Foundation’s Back to School campaign this year. The school was happy and excited to hear the good news, as it accommodates vulnerable and poor children from the region.
The school opened its doors to eager learners in 1976. Teachers at the school go above and beyond to ensure that the learners are given a quality education that will assist them in the long run. On 17 February 2022, the Team from the Northern Cape paid a friendly visit to the school to present the learners with new school shoes, new calculators and new mathematics sets to use this year during lessons.
Keba Moamogwa, the Deputy Principal for Motshwarakgole Intermediate School, thanked the Hollywood Foundation for the kind assistance, and added that it will greatly assist the learners at the school and encourage them to attend all lessons this year.
