Hollywoodbets Osizweni chose to support Osizweni Spartans FC as part of the Hollywoodbets’ My Community Programme for 2020/21.

65 players get together for weekly practise sessions at the Xolani High School Grounds. The club offers both soccer and netball training to their players. The Spartans’ goal is to promote sportsmanship in the community, and to help prevent the youth from getting involved in alcohol and drug abuse.
Their proudest moment so far was when one of their teams became finalists in the 2017/2018 SAB Playoffs. In 2019 they did very well again by coming in at number three in the SAB League. Some of their players have moved up to the Super League and SAB League.
The Hollywoodbets Osizweni branch chose to donate a kit to one of the club’s teams after receiving a letter of appeal from the club.
Spartans Marketing Manager, Thembelani Percival Khulamo was thrilled to receive this much-needed kit.
“This is helping us a lot because we did not have proper equipment. It will motivate our players and management to work harder towards our goal of achieving more in soccer tournaments,” he said.
