Hollywoodbets Verulam chose to support Knockes FC as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

The club was established in 2012 to keep school leavers occupied. They have one team which is based at the Verulam Sports Ground. The club is made up of 24 players between the ages of 20 and 32. They stay fit by training four times a week. Their greatest achievement came in 2019 when they won the Municipal Games.
Hollywoodbets Verulam rewarded Knockes for the good work they’re doing in their community by donating a full soccer kit to the club.
Coach Langelihle Ngcobo appreciated the kind gesture from Hollywoodbets as he mentioned the club was in desperate need of a uniform.
“The jerseys we have were old and this will help us stand out during matches,” he said.
