The iBranch Team, in collaboration with Palesa Pads, decided to help improve the lives of 80 young girls at Fortune Kunene Primary School.
Palesa Pads are a company that creates and distributes reusable sanitary towels. Their staff approached Hollywoodbets to request support for learners from disadvantaged communities.
These young girls struggle because of the financial demands placed on them by having to purchase feminine hygiene products.
80 Grade 7 learners at this primary school based in Vosloorus were happy to receive a pack containing re-usable sanitary pads. This will help them save a significant amount of money, while still enabling them to take good care of themselves. It also allows them to attend school continually in the months and years ahead.
