Hollywoodbets Soweto chose to support Future Stars FC as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.
Since 2015, this club has aimed to groom children and help them stay away from the influence of drugs and crime. Future Stars FC currently have 22 players who practice twice a week at Bhukulani Grounds. The club’s proudest moment was when they won the local Magesta’s Tournament in 2019. The team have been working hard and it has paid off for two players who have moved up a division to play in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.
The Hollywoodbets Soweto Team decided to help this club by handing over a full soccer kit for one team.
Owner of the club, Nomsa Khumalo, believes that this donation will motivate the players of the team.
“This donation will help us in terms of having more than one soccer kit as well as motivating our team to work harder and persevere,” he said.
