Hollywoodbets Newtown Mall chose to support Stars of Soweto FC as part of the Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2019/2020. Read on to learn more about the team’s visit.

Stars of Soweto FC
The club started in 2014 to encourage development amongst the soccer players in the community and to help nudge them onto a good life path. The club is made up of 60 players who practice every afternoon from Monday to Friday at the Greenvillage Grounds.
The Hollywoodbets Team from Newton Mall heard about the great work this club was doing within their community and donated a full kit to one of the Stars of Soweto teams.
Khethu Kuthulu, Coach of the club, was grateful for the motivating donation made by the Hollywoodbets Team.
“This will improve the performance of our team as we now have a soccer kit that we can play in with pride for our club,” he said.
