In its unwavering commitment to community upliftment and the spirit of Ubuntu, The Hollywood Foundation has once again demonstrated its dedication to making a positive impact. Through its CSI initiatives, the foundation continues to spread hope and support to the most vulnerable members of society.
Kearabetswe Drop in Centre, nestled in the heart of Magogong, has been a beacon of hope since the establishment of its HIV/AIDS programme in 2012. Serving a remarkable 596 beneficiaries, the organisation has been at the forefront of aiding those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Recognising the immense responsibility that comes with such impactful work, the Hollywood Foundation eagerly stepped in to lend a helping hand.
The dedicated staff at Kearabetswe Drop in Centre, who work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of their beneficiaries, found a welcome ally in The Hollywood Foundation. The foundation’s Purple Team embarked on a journey to Magogong, bearing gifts that would alleviate the daily challenges faced by the organisation. From a new stove to sanitary towels, stationary, and educational toys, the contribution aimed to fortify the day-to-day operations of the Centre.
The arrival of The Hollywood Foundation’s Purple Team on 8 December 2023, was met with overwhelming joy and excitement, turning the day into a celebration of unity and support. Lucas Seleke, Project Manager at Kearabetswe Drop in Centre, expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, “We are grateful to the Hollywood Foundation for the contribution. This support will assist us with the day-to-day running of the organisation, ensuring that we can continue providing vital assistance to our beneficiaries.”
Through this collaborative effort, the Hollywood Foundation reaffirms its commitment to community development. The partnership with Kearabetswe Drop in Centre stands as a testament to the foundation’s belief in the power of collective action to bring about positive change. As the Hollywood Foundation continues to champion causes that uplift communities, the impact of their CSI initiatives resonates far beyond the initial contribution, leaving a legacy of hope and support.
