The Hollywood Foundation’s commitment to Grassroots Sports Development shone brightly on 14 June 2024, when they made a significant contribution to Tambo Plaza FC, through their CSI programme. The event, held at the Club’s home ground, marked an exciting milestone for the local soccer community and underscored the Foundation’s dedication to nurturing emerging talent in the sport.
Tambo Plaza FC, a beloved local club established in 2003, has long been a cornerstone of Community Sports. With a roster of 40 enthusiastic players, the Team has been striving to provide quality soccer opportunities despite limited resources. Recognising their efforts, the Hollywood Foundation stepped in to make a meaningful impact through their CSI programme. On the day of the official handover, the Hollywood Foundation Team, alongside the Phoenix branch Team, presented the players with brand new soccer kits. This gesture a testament to the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting Grassroots Sports.
Zenzele, the Representative for Tambo Plaza FC, expressed heartfelt gratitude during the event. He stated, “We are incredibly grateful to the Hollywood Foundation for their generous contribution. These new soccer kits are more than just uniforms; they represent a significant boost to our Team’s morale and motivation.
