By providing essential resources and support to Grassroots Sports organisations, the Foundation fosters Youth Development and encourages a sense of community. On 12 June 2024, the Foundation proudly continued this mission by assisting Kommie Academy FC, nominated by the Ngcobo branch Team, with a generous contribution of brand-new soccer kits.
Established in 2020, Kommie Academy FC is dedicated to nurturing young talent and fostering personal growth through sports. With a strong emphasis on skill development and Teamwork, the Club has quickly become a vital part of the local community. The contribution of new soccer kits aligns perfectly with the Club’s mission, providing the players with the confidence and motivation they need to excel both on and off the field.
During the handover event, excitement filled the air as players eagerly tried on their new kits, embodying the spirit of unity and pride that Kommie Academy FC represents. Abonga, the Club Manager, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous contribution, stating, “We are truly thankful to the Hollywood Foundation for their support.
