The Hollywood Foundation was proud to sponsor the SANTACO – Hlokomela Prayer Day on Tuesday, 14 December 2021. The event took place at Umnini Thusong Sizakala Centre, Umgababa, and many people came together and stood united for this powerful initiative.

The SANTACO Hlokomela eThekweni Taxi Region, in partnership with KwaZulu-Natal Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs, taxi owners, drivers and Hlokomela members within Durban, used the day as an opportunity to pray for an accident-free festive season. Prayers were also made to commemorate 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence and Child Abuse.

The programme began with a prayer, which was followed by sermons, performances by Gospel singers and messages from speakers. Team Members from the Hollywood Foundation were also proud to attend the event as many people gathered to pray at the end of a challenging year.
