Hollywoodbets Newtown Mall chose to support Rena Le Lona Creative Centre for Children as part of Hollywoodbets My Community Programme for 2018/2019. Read on to learn more about the team’s donation.

Rena Le Lona Creative Centre is a child care centre that aims to provide support to children who have lost their parents to HIV and AIDS by nurturing their creativity through art as a form of healing.
The centre also provides the minors with psychologists and teachers thus showing them that they are cared for.
The Hollywoodbets Team that is based in Newtown Mall visited the centre to donate gumboots, helmets, two flat screen TVs as well as traditional attire.
Mlungisi Mvelase, the centre manager, thanked the Team for their assistance.
“Our children will now have costumes to perform in. It has been a struggle to attain this attire and this donation will help to promote unity amongst the kids,” he said.
