The Hollywood Foundation was on-hand to assist another non-profit organisation in South Africa. Through various CSI initiatives, the Purple Team have been touching the lives of many vulnerable individuals in society, that need much-needed support. Based in Giyani, Maseke Drop-In Centre was overjoyed to hear that they will be receiving assistance in September this year.
This non-profit organisation opened its doors in 2005, and it prioritises the needs of children. The staff at this Centre prepare home-cooked meals for children, and they assist learners with their homework. A unique feature about this Centre is the home visits and door-to-door feature that it offers children from across the region. By doing this, it is evident that Maseke Drop-In Centre strives to ensure that the youth in the community are nurtured and provided with basic life skills that they will use when they are older. On 29 September 2022, the Team from Phalaborwa embarked on a CSI project, and contributed an array of items to the Centre, such as tables, chairs, books and laptops.
Sinah Magomane, the Manager of Maseke Drop-In Centre, was grateful for the support from the Hollywood Foundation
