New kit for Inhlakanipho rugby team courtesy of a donation from Hollywoodbets

Thanks to their association with Phaka, Hollywoodbets chose to support Inhlakanipho High School as part of their annual My Community Programme during the 2018/2019 financial year.

Rugby is a relatively new offering at this school based in KwaMashu, Durban but Inhlakanipho High School started offering the sport in order to help develop the sport within KwaMashu schools.
Since 2017 pupils have been getting together to practise three times a week.
They are proud of the fact that one of their players has joined the College Rovers Club’s Under 20 side, and also to have taken part in the Sharks Development Programme.
Their biggest challenge is finding the funds to transport their players to and from matches.
Through their involvement with the Phaka show Hollywoodbets was put in contact with coach Modise Masuku.
His passion inspired them to get involved and help him take his vision further by donating rugby kits and training materials including cones and rugby balls to the team. Their coach was thrilled to receive these much-needed items

“This donation will help boost our kids’ confidence and give them an identity as a team. Thank you Hollywoodbets,” said coach Masuku.
