Caring for Orphans in Rural Areas (CORA)
The organisation opened its doors in 2009 to help accommodate the underprivileged children in the Nonceba Village. These children are between two and five years old. CORA provides them with a structured educational programme, meals, and health and hygiene facilities. They also help the community members as they provide a safe and secure place to leave their children during the day when they go to work.
The Team from Hollywoodbets Quigney heard about how well established the organisation is. They were also impressed by the hard work that CORA puts into moulding children in need during this important foundation phase. For this reason, the Team made a donation of much-needed items including a JoJo Tank, a stove and mattresses. They chose these particular items because the organisation has been unable to meet basic infrastructure needs.
Kathy Schultz, Founder of the organisation, was thankful for the show of support.
“We are so grateful to have found a company that is willing to invest in our school and give us what we need to be able to give these children the best chance in life. Water is very scarce in this area and the JoJo tank is going to change their lives. Thank you for supporting us and our goals,” she said.
