The Hollywood Foundation is committed to uplifting communities across South Africa through its various pillars. As part of its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) efforts, the Foundation actively supports initiatives that empower and inspire, with a strong focus on Sports Development at grassroots and community levels.
On 31 May 2025, the Hollywood Foundation’s CSI Team, supported by the KwaDukuza branch, proudly handed over brand-new soccer kits and equipment to the Under 15 Team at TJ Galaxy FC, a dedicated community football club in KwaZulu-Natal. This contribution was made under the “My Sports” pillar, which is aimed at nurturing young talent and growing the future of local sports. Through CSI-driven programmes like this, the Hollywood Foundation continues to make a lasting impact on Sports Development where it matters most.
Founded in March 2022, TJ Galaxy was born from a passion to provide young boys with a positive outlet. The Club now supports 85 players across age groups, with 15 boys under the age of 15. By promoting physical activity, teamwork, and discipline, the Club is shaping future leaders through sport. With five trophies already in their cabinet, TJ Galaxy is a shining example of the potential that community sports holds.
Thanks to this CSI contribution from the Hollywood Foundation, the Team can now confidently recruit new players, host practices, and participate in games with pride. The support spans beyond the provision of vital uniforms and sports gear, it is a boost in morale, visibility, and opportunity for young athletes.
“This contribution means so much to us,” said Club Representative Timothy Gumbi. “We are passionate about helping young boys grow, and now we have the support to take our dream further. Thank you to the Hollywood Foundation for believing in grassroots sports.”
